Whole Bean vs Pre-Ground

We offer both because people need different things.

Pre-ground is simple. Open the bag, brew, move on. For a lot of routines, that's exactly what works.

Whole bean takes one extra step (grinding) but it gives you more. More freshness, more control, more flavor.

Here's why:

Coffee starts losing flavor the moment it's ground. Whole beans hold onto that freshness longer because they're less exposed to air. Grind right before brewing and you get the coffee at its best.

You also get control over grind size, which matters more than most people think. Different brew methods need different grinds. Pre-ground locks you into one size. Whole bean lets you adjust.

The bottom line:

If convenience is what you need right now, pre-ground works.

If you want the fullest expression of what the coffee can be, go whole bean.

Both come with the same commitment. $2 from every bag, no matter which you choose. The quality doesn't change.

What changes is how much of that quality makes it into your cup.
