Description

Bali Blue - Indonesia

Smooth, bold, and balanced.

This is a medium-dark roast from the highland farms of Kintamani, Bali. Grown at elevations between 1,200 and 1,600 meters in volcanic soil, where traditional Subak Abian cooperatives have been farming coffee for generations.

The coffee is processed using Giling Basah, a wet-hulling method unique to Indonesia. It's hand-picked, wet-hulled, and sun-dried in two steps. This traditional process creates the bold body and gentle acidity that Indonesian coffees are known for.

Origin: Kintamani Highlands, Central Bali, Indonesia

Altitude: 1,200–1,600 MASL

Process: Wet-hulled (Giling Basah), hand-picked, two-step sun-dried

Varietal: Bourbon (S795 & USDA 762), Typica, Catimor

Farming Model: Subak Abian traditional cooperatives

Harvest: May–October

Flavor notes:
Rich baker's chocolate, orange zest, subtle juniper, molasses sweetness, smooth finish

Roast level:
●●●●○ Medium-Dark Roast

What you'll taste is rich chocolate up front with a touch of orange zest and juniper, layered with molasses sweetness. The body is full, the acidity gentle, the finish smooth and clean. Bold without bitterness.

Works well in a drip coffee maker, French press, or however you brew.

And like every bag we sell, $2 goes to supporting children who are still waiting.

Not just great coffee. Coffee that does something.
